Brass:

Although brass is a material with good conductivity,it is easy to deform and fatigue quickly after repeated bending.It is usually used as a fixed contact in cheap connectors or as other metal parts in connectors.Connectors with brass contacts should not be used where good elasticity is required,but brass can still be used as contacts in many places due to its low cost.

Phosphor bronze:

Phosphorus bronze is harder than brass and can maintain long-term elasticity at the same time.It is usually used as connector contact material with operating temperature lower than 300°F.for most connectors that do not fit frequently or the contact is bent normally,the use of phosphorus bronze can ensure good reliability.

Beryllium bronze:

Beryllium bronze has more mechanical properties than brass or phosphorus bronze.Beryllium bronze parts solidify and harden after annealing,almost permanently maintaining their shape.It is also the most durable material.Beryllium bronze connector contacts are recommended for connector applications that require frequent plugging and high reliability.
