Design considerations for subminiature push-pull connectors!

1、EMI and EMC failures:

As applications require higher and higher frequencies,shielding and electromagnetic interference(EMI)have become key problems.EMI is a bad phenomenon that occurs when external sources interfere with signals.The signal leakage problem of connectors is called electromagnetic compatibility or EMC,which usually leads to EMC test failure.In short,the lack of proper electrical connection and shielding of the connector will externally affect the signal of the conductor.

2、Environmental issues:

Another consideration in the design of subminiature push-pull connectors is the application environment,which is vulnerable to salt water,fuel and other pollutants in harsh environmental applications.Due to its mechanical opening and lack of environmental seal,the connector is prone to corrosion and failure,resulting in poor overall performance.

3、High vibration problems:

The use of subminiature push-pull connectors in high vibration applications may lead to the problem of easy disconnection.It is necessary to ensure that the designed connectors have high reliability in high vibration environment and reduce the problem of connector disconnection.
